Does our Emphasis on Quality Pay?

Because of our quality we have very loyal customers. It has also resulted in a return rate, during our one year warranty, of just 3.6%. About half of the units returned for service are determined to have no faults. This yields a true return rate of about 1.7%. Quality does pay for both Siress Enterprises, Inc., and our customers.

Due to our proven standards of quality and reliability we have dock-to-stock arrangements with several of our customers. This reduces customer inventory levels and eliminates the costly and time consuming need to test any supply with the Siress label on the box. We also have products shipped from our customer’s field service technicians directly to our facility. This saves several days transit and processing time.

We will also maintain a customer inventory of parts that can then be shipped directly to a field service technician at the system repair site. Saves time and shipping charges.

How is this high level of quality maintained?

The answer is in the dedication of the people, their expert technical talents, their knowledge in the use of quality equipment, and their good ol’ fashioned know-how. Using people properly trained in power supply technology and the use of high-tech equipment guarantees that a quality repair is done the first time that we work on your equipment. All of our repair technicians have a minimum of seven years experience repairing power supplies for a major OEM power supply manufacturer.

Our turn-around time is ten days or less. We maintain a computerized record of every power supply, from the time it is received to the time it is shipped, by the OEM model and serial number, and the customer part number and serial number if one has been assigned. Our data base is specifically designed to record all pertinent information such as date-in /date-out, repair action taken, parts replaced, your purchase order number and any special requirements. Parts used for repair are equal to or superior to those originally installed. Upgrade or modification requests can be accommodated. A failure report with notations of all work done is returned with each supply.

The data base will be made available to customers who have been assigned a password as soon as this feature can be incorporated in the web site. In the interim, please contact our sales department.

All of our documentation and procedures conform to the ISO 9002 specification (International Organization for Standardization). Our plant has the proper ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection. Our test equipment, purchased from companies like HP, Tektronics, ACDC, and Fluke, is certified to MIL-STD-45662A and traceable to the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST).

Every repaired unit is burned in prior to final test. At final test, each supply must meet or exceed the original OEM specifications. Our repair charges are still very reasonable. ATE (Automated Test Equipment) testing is available for qualified customers using our HP or NH Research equipment.
